This video is pretty cool! it shows a split screen of Disneyland and Magic Kingdom parks side by side. It is amazing how similar they actually are.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s an elephant?
No, it’s not Dumbo. But, perhaps a releative. An African bull elephant was airlifted out of the Jungle Cruise via helicopter early one morning in May. He was taken backstage to see his vet and get some TLC. About every 8 years or so, the Jungle Cruise elephants are given a “check-up,” which takes about 7 weeks. The elephant will return to the Jungle Cruise once his vet has given clearance. See a video of the flying elephant in action below…

Disneyland Hotel Koi Fish get New Home
Disneyland donated the 250 Koi fish who used to live in the Disneyland Hotel Koi pond to the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA. The fish had to be moved due of the upcoming remodel of the Disneyland Hotel and the construction of the new pool and water slides.
Below is a picture Disney released of the fish in their new home.

Many people (myself included) are a little upset about the hotel contraction. Disney will be tearing out the famous waterfalls and Koi ponds in favor of the retro Monorail water slides and pool announced a few weeks ago. The waterfalls were a great place to get away form the crowd and escape to a quite, less explored part of the resort. But, the water slides and pool will surely be a popular addition for hotel guests.
